Gus is 4 months old today! It seems crazy to me that we just brought him home a little over 1/3 of a year ago. And he has changed so much from the little guy he was! At his 4 month well-child check-up, Gus weighed in at 17 lbs 6oz. and was 26.5" long (>90th percentile in each). It's amazing to think about just how much he has grown in such a short time. He more than doubled his weight and added 4" to his length!
May has been a busy month for August. He got to go to his very first
Pork & Beans Brass Band (this is G's newest musical project). Gus was a champ! He even amazed some bystanders by napping during one of the sets! The band practices in our basement, so he is used to the music. And he
loves tuba. It's pretty darn adorable to see the expressions he
makes when G serenades him--I'm pretty sure it tickles Gearl as well.
My Grandma & Grandpa Hockemeyer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family get together this month. Augie got to meet a couple of the clan that he hadn't been formally introduced to yet, and he got to have a photo shoot with his Oma & Opa.

I'm excited to see what the following months bring! Finally, the coolest new thing in Augie's repertoire, the Jumperoo!
